62024 was both a rewarding and challenging year for Lookout Credit Union. We are grateful to be part of a team and a cooperative that remained positive and steadfast while the world navigated such a tumultuous year. The spirit of our membership, our partners, and our employees is what makes us proud to be Lookout. We are all committed to making a difference in our communities as we %u201cGrow Together.%u201dIn 2024, we paid the highest dividends to our membership ever! Additionally, lending demand remains strong as we continue to fulfill the borrowing needs of our members. Commercial lending is strong in Idaho. We continue to offer products that help our members save more money, like our increased dividends on Money Market accounts. Our Rewards Checking account is THE BEST checking account in the market, providing identity theft protection, smart phone insurance, interest on balances, and refunds from all out-of-network ATM fees. The real estate market remains slow due to stubbornly high rates and increased values, but we are helping members access the equity in their homes through our amazing Home Equity Line of Credit.We%u2019re committed to giving back to our communities and truly value community outreach%u2014it%u2019s been a core part of the credit union movement from the start. For Lookout Credit Union, that begins with our amazing coworkers, who volunteered more than 1500 hours of their personal time to make our communities better. In addition, through our Community Rangers volunteer program, many of our members joined our employees in giving back through serving in classrooms, joining us at community beautification events, filling food baskets at our local food banks, and volunteering through other charitable organizations like the United Way!
